The Grandview and Prosser pools are getting ready for summer swimming lessons!

GRANDVIEW:

Pre-Registration is Monday and Tuesday May 23-24th from 12-5pm at the Park's Office.
$20.00 for a 2-week session Mon-Thurs.

Parent/Tot Class
A great way to get your child introduced to the water. Class is tentatively scheduled for early August. Cost is $20.00. Call 509-882-9219 to be put on an interest list.

PROSSER:

Register anytime at the City of Prosser office.
New Aquatic Center pool opens June 13th, 2011!
$30.00 for a 2-week session (days and times vary)

Summer Play Dates at the Park!

Join the MOTS Moms every Thursday throughout the summer for laid back Play Dates at the Park. We will be meeting at the Castle Park in Prosser at 10:00 am Thursdays. Starts this week: Thursday, May 19th! JOIN US!

End of Year Meeting/Play Date - CHANGE OF LOCATION!

We will be having our FINAL MOTS Meeting of the year this Thursday, May 12th @ 9:30-11:30am!

CHANGE OF LOCATION! We will be meeting at the NEW GRANDVIEW PARK LOCATED at “COUNTRY PARK,” otherwise known to most as “THE FAIR GROUNDS.” There is more play equipment there and lots of picnic tables.

Everyone bring a snack to share with other moms and kids.  

Also, if you know of anyone who might like to join us next year, invite them to come to this final meeting for a “taste” of what our group is all about and for information on summer play dates and next year.

Mark your Calendar! Our LAST meeting for the year will be on Thursday, May 12th @ 9:30am. We will be having a Play Date - Picnic at the new Grandview Park located at "Country Park," otherwise known to most as "The Fair Grounds."

Please bring a brunch item to share, remember to make it "kid friendly" as our children will be joining us in eating and playing.

Local Easter Egg Hunts!

GRANDVIEW:

Grandview Parks and Recreation annual Community Bunny Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

8:30am: hot cakes and sausage - $4 for adults, $3 for kids 8 and older
10:00am: Egg Hunt - costs $1 per child kids ages 1-8
Other activities: a visit by the Easter Bunny and a petting zoo hosted by Grandview High School's FFA students.

Annual Egg Hunt Hosted by The Prosser Chamber of Commerce and community service clubs

10:00am: Egg Hunt for kids up to age 9
Volunteers will give out more than 200 books to kids

Sunnyside Recreation 27th Annual Egg Hunt

For kids 6 and younger (an adult must accompany all youngsters, but are not to help)
9:00am: Arts and crafts
9:30am: Hunt for wrapped candy

Darigold Dairy Fair Egg Hunt

10:00am: Kids 1 and 9 will hunt by age group for more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy, prizes or coupons

Meeting Thursday ~ April 14th

Join us this Thursday at MOTS!

No special speaker at this meeting. It will be a morning of pampering yourself (bring your mani and pedi supplies) or finishing up the craft you've been wanting time to get to (scrapbooking, decorations, sewing etc.)

Also, we will be having the annual MOTS SWAP! It's like a garage sale with no money involved. Bring items to give away and find some new ones to take home! Read the post below on the MOTS SWAP for more info.
